LMHCA stands for Licensed Mental Health Counselor Associate which is Washington state’s provisionary license that allows a counselor to work with clients while supervised and complete other requirements towards become independently licensed. I plan to apply for my independent license toward the end of 2026.

Yes. Under my supervisor Zane Behnke, I can accept insurance. Visit my Insurance & Rates page for the full list of insurances I can and cannot accept. Generally, I can accept Premera, Regence, Blue Cross & Blue Shield, Anthem, Lifewise, Kaiser Permanenete, and First Choice insurance plans.

I can also provide a superbill for you to submit to your insurance if it’s not listed below. I cannot provide an estimate of what your insurance would cover while using a superbill.

My self-pay rates are below. I also offer a limited number of sliding scale slots for those who cannot afford the below rates.

  • Consultation (20 minutes) – Free
  • Initial Appointment/Intake (60 minutes) – $180
  • Individual Session (55 minutes) – $150
  • Couples/Family Session (75 minutes) – $220

Currently, I only offer telehealth/virtual visits. In the future, I plan to have a physical office where I can see in-person clients.

No. I cannot see clients who are located outside of Washinton state due to licensing and insurance regulations.

No, but…. I do not work with children in my private practice right now, because I do not have the physical space to provide the most effective therapy to children. I currently work with children at my other job and plan to prioritize having a physical space so that I can continue that work in the future.

No. I cannot prescribe or manage medication. I can work collaboratively with your primary care provider or other medication management provider to be sure your voice is heard and that we are checking in regularly with medication effectiveness and side effects.

Yes. I provide therapy for LGBTQIA+ clients and also provide recommendation letters for gender-affirming care. As a part of the LGBTQIA+ community, this will always be a priority in the care that I provide my clients.

Absolutely! I have worked with neurodivergent clients with ADHD, Autism, and a combination of the two. As a late-diagnosed neurodivergent human, I understand that learning how our brains work best is one of the keys to creating a successful life.

Yes. If you need an ESA letter for your furry family member, I can provide that for you after some evaluation of you, you furry family member, and both of your needs.

Yes. I have been disabled and legally blind since birth. I have a condition called albinism which affects my skin and hair and causes a variety of eye-related conditions that mean I’m visually impaired. You are welcome to ask questions about albinism or my visual impairment. As a disabled person, I also have the personal and professional experience to work well with clients who are disabled and/or have chronic illnesses.
